VASSILIOS THEOCHARAKIS - CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Vassilios Theocharakis is a founding member, one of the major shareholders
and President of EGNATIA BANK S.A.
Born in Piraeus, Greece in 1930, Mr. Theocharakis is a graduate of the Law
Faculty of Athens University. He is fluent in both English and French. He
served in the Greek Army as an officer.
In parallel with his studies at the University, he attended painting classes
for five years at the atelier of the reputed painter Spiros Papaloukas.
He joined the family business at the age of 17. Since 1980 he is the President
and Managing Director of the Theocharakis Group of Companies. Under his
leadership and management, the Group has grown and expanded rapidly while
several new companies were established.
For more than 40 years now Mr. Vassilios Theocharakis maintains a continuous
and consistent business and artistic presence in Greece, enjoying several
distinctions. He has participated in several Government Committees and is a
member of the Industrial & Commercial as well as of the Fine Arts Chamber.
Besides a successful business activity, Mr. Vassilios Theocharakis is a well
known painter and has exhibited his works in many occasions both in Greece and
abroad. His paintings can be found in various public places and museums
including the Greek National Gallery, as well as in several private
collections.
He is married to Marina Alexandris, who, as well as their two daughters, Annita
and Deni, are actively involved in the family business.
ALEXANDROS BAKATSELOS - DEPUTY CHAIRMAN
Mr. Alexandros Bakatselos is a founding member and Deputy Chairman of EGNATIA
BANK S.A.
Born in Thessaloniki, studied Economics at Brussels University and the
University of Thessaloniki.
He is a self-made businessman, with a broad range of activities:

KONSTANTINOS VASSILAKOPOULOS - MANAGING DIRECTOR
He was born in 1943. Having completed his graduate studies at the Athens University School of Economics and Commercial Sciences he attended the Institute of Business Management. He entered professional employment in 1970 at the Department of Economic Analysis and Research of Emporiki Bank. In 1975, he became a member of the founding team of Ergasias Bank, where he initially had responsibility for credit sanctioning. In 1990 he was appointed General Manager of Ergasias Bank. In 1993 he was elected to the Board of Directors, a post he held until leaving the Bank in 2000. From 2001 to 2004 he held the position of General Manager of Business and Consumer Banking at the Bank of Cyprus Greece, while concurrently being Chairman of Kyprou Securities. In January 2005 he was appointed Group General Manager Bank of Cyprus Greece. In October 2007 he assumed the position of Deputy Managing Director of Marfin Egnatia Bank. Since January 2008 Mr. Vassilakopoulos is the Managing Director of Marfin Egnatia Bank.
EFTHIMIOS BOULOUTAS – MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Thimios Bouloutas was born in 1961. He holds a Civil Engineering Diploma from National Technical University of Athens, a MSc in Civil Engineering from Stanford University and a Ph.D degree in Computational Fluid Mechanics from MIT. He has also conducted post doctorate studies at Princeton University. He worked as consultant with Epsilon Ltd and Athens Tech Centre. He has incorporated Ionian Mutual Funds where he worked for 8 years as Managing Director. He was also member of the Board at Ionian Mutual Funds and at Alpha Mutual Funds. Since 2000 he worked at EFG Eurobank Ergasias holding various positions the latest being General Manager, member of the Executive Committee and Chief executive officer at Eurobank Asset Management. He also was member of the board at EFG Private Bank Luxemburg. In 2006 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Marfin Bank and member of the Board of Directors of Marfin Financial Group. In November 2006 he was appointed Managing Director of Laiki Bank (Hellas) S.A. He currently holds the positions of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Marfin Popular Bank and Chief Executive Officer of Marfin Egnatia Bank.
ANDREAS VGENOPOULOS – MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Andreas Vgenopoulos is a member of the Board of Directors of EGNATIA BANK.
Mr. Vgenopoulos was born in 1953.
He graduated from the Law School in Athens University.
He served as a Human Resources Manager for THENAMARIS SHIPPING, Attorney at Law
and Founder of the Law Firm VGENOPOULOS & PARTNERS.
He is presently Chairman of the Board of Directors of MARFIN BANK S.A., and
Vice Chairman of MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP HOLDINGS S.A.

FOTIOS KARATZENIS – MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Dr. Fotios Karatzenis was born in 1964. He graduated from the Law School at the
University of Athens and received a Legum Magister (LL.M.) as well as a Doktor Juris
(Dr. Jur.) from the University of Freiburg i. Br. (F.R. Germany). He has been a
Research Fellow in the University of Freiburg i. Br., Deputy Managing Partner in a
reputable Athens Law Firm. Today he is Legal Advisor – Head of the Legal Department
of MARFIN Group. Dr Karatzenis has instructed seminars and has a series of
publications in the area of Capital Markets, damages, unfair contract terms and
private international Law. Dr. Fotios Karatzenis speaks English and German.
PANAGIOTIS THROUVALAS - MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Panagiotis Throuvalas is a member of the Board of Directors of EGNATIA
BANK.
He was born in Athens in 1956. He studied Economics at the University of Athens
on a scholarship and he continued his studies at the University of Manitoba (MA
in Economics).
He is currently the Financial Director of the Theocharakis Group. He is married
with two children.
PANAGIOTIS THEOCHARAKIS - MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr Panagiotis Theocharakis is a member of the Board of Directors of EGNATIA
BANK.
He was born in Athens in 1958. He’s a Mechanical Engineer of the National
Technical University of Athens (BSc in Production Engineering), and he also
holds a BA in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics
& Business.
Mr Panagiotis Theocharakis was Assistant Managing Director of Teocar S.A. from
1984 until 1995. Also since 1984 he holds the position of Deputy Managing
Director at the company Nik. I. Theocharakis S.A. and he is also a Member of
the Board of Directors of Nik. I. Theocharakis S.A., TEOCAR S.A. and TECOM S.A.
The period 1991-1993 he worked as a Representative of the EC Program STRIDE
with the title «Εnvironmentally Clean Vehicle Technologies”.
Mr Panagiotis Theocharakis is married and father of 4 children.
DESPOINA THEOCHARAKI - MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mrs. Despoina Theocharaki is a Member of Board of Directors of EGNATIA BANK.
She was born in Athens, Greece. She is a graduate of the Department of
Economics at the University of Athens and she holds a Masters in Business
Administration (major finance) from the New York University.
She worked part-time at TEO SHIPPING CORPORATION for two years. From 1989 until
today she is a Deputy Managing Director of Nik. I. Theocharakis S.A. and
Theocharakis S.A.
She is married and mother of three children.
